In this update: Clearview Update | 2025 Annual Conference | Merch Store Launch

It's been several weeks since I've had the chance to provide an update on recent events. With this update, I aim to elevate awareness and enthusiasm for our current endeavors and future objectives, as God utilizes our efforts for His glory.
Clearview Update
The initial meeting at Clearview Baptist Church in June was striking. The room was laden with various struggles, concerns, difficulties, and palpable defeats, all underscored by an air of exhaustion. Yet, amidst this, there remained a thread of hope. Following the difficult discussions, those present began to dream once more. Indeed, it was an unforgettable night.
Since that evening, strides have been made towards progress. Sam Rainer, the author of "The Church Revitalization Checklist", said of church revitalization, “Any step forward is good movement. So just take that step forward.” Revitalization is not a swift endeavor but a strenuous journey that may span generations of dedication and labor. When approaching a church in need that may be interested in partnering with Refresh-Restore Ministries, we utilize three "church life" spheres as a diagnostic tool to determine where to provide assistance initially. These spheres include a church's spiritual, relational, and physical health. With Clearview, there were immediate structural and physical needs – it's astonishing how God has provided thus far. Simply put, the people wanted to "take that step forward".
“Any step forward is good movement. So just take that step forward.”
The interior has undergone a noticeable transformation, from the finished flooring and the new backdrop on the platform. Countless hours of labor have been contributed by members of the church and the community. We would also like to extend our public gratitude to Forsyth Flooring Group for their generous donation of flooring materials. I was honored to preach on Sunday, August 25th, and it was deeply moving to witness how God is blessing this place of worship. Here are some photos showcasing the progress from my visit.
Observing the accomplishments at Clearview Baptist Church is genuinely thrilling. Triumphs of spiritual, physical, and relational dimensions are apparent even with a cursory glance. In order to preserve a sanctuary for future generations, the following is a comprehensive list of needs for the church building.
Plywood: $1200 DONATED
Flooring: $10000 DONATED
Cleanout: $500
Sanctuary Light Repair: $300

Will you consider partnering with us financially to meet these needs? Your generosity will indeed make a significant impact. We are grateful for your support and kindness.
2025 Annual Refresh-Restore Conference

With the Early-Bird Registration just around the corner, the 2025 Refresh-Restore Annual Conference is set to be a safe haven for pastors, their spouses, and ministry leaders, providing hope and support for today and tomorrow. The Barna Group released a study in June 2023 on the necessity of rest in pastoral ministry, which included the following image depicting the shift in "Pastors' Satisfaction, Then & Now".

Numerous pastors, their spouses, and ministry leaders are exhausted and in hurting. Our goal is to offer a conference that will inspire hope and foster healing. The theme for 2025 is "Rooted in Faith: Ready for Every Season." We are privileged to welcome Dr. Stephen Rummage as our Conference Speaker, and we are excited to introduce breakout sessions. Additional biographical details about our main speaker and the breakout session leaders will be shared in an upcoming update. A complete event schedule will also be made available. Please consider joining us on January 30th and 31st. Registration opens on October 1st, 2024. Space will be limited.
